Hello!
I'm Liann Trahey, a passionate third-year student pursuing Visual Communication Design at The Ohio State University. Throughout my journey here, I've actively engaged in various design communities, proudly serving as the President of the Ohio State CSCA Student Chapter and contributing as a Design Committee member for TEDxOhioStateUniversity.
Naturally, I have a mindset that aims toward creative thinking and finding solutions. I have luckily been able to learn more about what the graphic design field holds and have become interested in branding/rebranding due to the possibilities it creates for company success, design research, and to how it creates sustainable design solutions, and UX/UI because of the opportunities that aligned to create the best product for users.
In wanting to gain more experience outside of classes, within the past year, I have taken the opportunity to be a Graphic Design Intern at The Ohio State University Administration and Planning. Working here has allowed me to network with many departments throughout the Ohio State campus and grow as a designer through mentorship.
Outside of school and work, I enjoy listening to music, cooking, eating, trying new activities, working out and socializing. I also own an orange tabby, named Miso, who I spend a lot of my time with!
