Problem Statement and Objectives
This project was initiated to support women in achieving their fitness objectives. In current times, the perception of fitness has undergone a transformation that is influenced by social media platforms and the pervasive reach of the internet. However, a notable challenge persists: the majority of workout regimens showcased are tailored mainly for men, disregarding the 4-phase menstrual cycle experienced by women. This extends to many mainstream workout applications, highlighting the need for a solution that ensures the safe and effective implementation of workout routines specifically designed for women. This dashboard is specifically a more personal and meaningful experience because it allows women to fully understand themselves but track their healthy workouts successfully.

Ideation Sketches

Initially, my goal was to develop a polished yet straightforward interface for my dashboard. After crafting two design options, I discovered that the darker aesthetic resonated most with my female users. However, I also recognized that incorporating more color could enhance its appeal further.

Testing Plan and Results

For this testing plan, I designed six sequential screens that followed these three areas: Cue, Routine, and Reward. When I revisited this concept with my female users, they noted that while it effectively addressed workout discussions, it lacked the necessary integration of phases and cycles.

UI Style Guide

In the past two testing sessions, I considered the necessity for incorporating color and enhancing its feminine appeal. Consequently, I opted to include a curvier typeface to further accentuate the feminine aesthetic of the project.

Wireflow

At first glance, the wireflow of this interactive application may seem messy, but it enables smooth transitions between various screens. In total, I created 28 screens that seamlessly link to one another.

Static High-fi Prototype

This static high-fidelity prototype displays the screens corresponding to a "brisk walk" workout, depicting the progression resulting from multiple user selections leading to the final goal.

Figma Interactive Prototype (Hit Restart to Start from the Beginning!)

The Figma interactive prototype facilitates a straightforward click-through experience of my CycleSync dashboard application. Due to time constraints, only the drop downs for "brisk walk" and "light yoga" are functional, but all select buttons work.
Please feel free to expand the screen and interact with it!
